Hey all. hope someone can help with this. I have a Bx23 with 54" mmm I tried to adjust the deck and have been having a hard time. If I set the height dial to 3" my blades are exactly 3" from the ground With I sent it to 1" the left side is 1" and the right is somewhere around 3". If I sent it to 4" I have the same problem one side high the other low. I have tried everything in the manual I used a dial calipar to be exact just cant seems to get it right. Nothing looks bent. HELP.

I am not sure about side to side issues, but I think I recall that you want to set the deck for the height you would typically be mowing at because it will very front to back in height at other settings just based on the way the deck moves up and down.

I haven't set up mine since I bought it last year because it is still mowing nicely so I figure don't mess with it if it ain't broke.

Another thing to be careful of is that the anti-scalp wheels aren't hitting the ground as your setting it up as that may leave one side that is supported by the wheels instead of the hangers. Adjust the wheels after you level the blades (at least that is what I did).

Last of all, it is a pain in the you know what and I think it took me several hours when I did it. That was mainly because I did it more than once as the directions weren't exactly clear.

Good luck and hope this helps some, if not you can sell it for what you paid for it..... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
