My radiator decided to start leaking at the joint for the top tank. Is another plastic/metal radiator all that is available for these. $300 is a little steep for a little radiator that is part plastic.

Doubt alternate type is available as the market is so small. How many hours? If it it just seeping under pressure you might get a couple more years out of it by adding a teaspoon of household grade grind pepper to it. It will plug fine leaks as it circulates in the pressurized system..

On one of the cars I had a custom radiator built... the guy was an artist... it still cost me $350 and that was 20 years ago.

Just recently, I saw somebody online selling smallish alum. radiators for just over $100 (new- and they looked like good quality) like Surplus Center or another legit. company. Spend some happy time searching the internet, if you can't find a specialist who can repair yours? Don't see radiator shops around any more.
