BX23 Seat on a BX2200

Has anyone tried this yet? I am sure I am not the only one who has a desire for a more comfortable seat.
Now that I have seen the BX23's seat I am thinking about changing over if they don't want too much for the new seat.
Or has anyone found one that will fit w/o mods from a third party?

(I know, I know, it's a tractor not a recliner)

My brother the Kubota mechanic was told by the factory that the BX 23 seat would fit on my BX 22. As far as it fitting on the 2200 I dont know, but if I was to guess I would say that at seat off the new BX 2230 would be a better fit for your 2200. They may be the same, but I know the BX 22 seat is mounted on a frame that allows the seat to rotate rearward for use with the backhoe.

Both the Bx23 and the BX2230 use part # K2571-56110 according to their respective parts list. Tractorsmart lists the part at a cool $141.20 (ouch!) /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Is the BX23xx seat a substantial improvement to the original? It's not a suspension seat, is it??

Don't think so, judging from the pictures. Looks like the seat you already have, except with a taller back. Not worth the cost, IMO.

It's not just taller, it has much more padding where it counts, and also more lumbar support.
Perhaps I will get one for by butt as a birthday present. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
