BX2350 Cat 1 hitch size question?

OK, I was removing my backhoe anyway so I can hook up the lawn vaccume and I installed the lift arms. When I spread them apart I was mildly surprised. They measured well over 30" apart. Either cross bar with 7/8" pins will fit. they measure the same when raised all the way. Sooo, I guess it is the owners option for the BX series.

ropoage,I was thinking of the reese style hitches,I purchase the 26" from a freind only to have to cut and reweld it.As the top link can not be adjusted to make your hitch run close to level.No big problem if you got a welder,I thought you were looking to purchase a new one and thats why I was recomending the 20" Your set up looks good,don't have to worry about that draw bar rolling with that top link.
