BX2350 D dies

I think the switch for the hast pedal would keep it from starting if it thinks the pedal is pressed. It seems like what the op describes is the tractor is running, he presses the pedal, it dies.

Id have to see some kind of wiring diagram to understand what could be wrong. I assume you checked fuses. I still say it’s the seat safety switch, the pto or HST pedal switches would keep the tractor from starting.

Edit, I say the seat safety switch, but it could be somewhere down stream from the actual switch.
That makes sense. Here is the table for a BX 60series. Not sure if it is the same. If the HST switch were stuck all the time in the OFF position, the tractor would not start.

The presence switch is behind the seat and works. It doesn't have a seat angled switch. The other switch sits to the front bottom left of the seat and is engaged/disengaged when the seat is up or down. The only HST switch I found and tested was under the tractor by the neutral adjustment is used to start the tractor and is normally open until pushed by a piece of metal from the HST to start it. That works correctly. I didn't see a safety switch near the pivot point of the HST Pedals, but will look again. I will try to wire around the other seat switch. Thanks again for the help. One thing I haven't tried is put the tractor in neutral and press on the HST Pedals. I'll have to try that and let y'all know what happens. Hopefully nothing serious, but it's aggravating.

First I would like to thank everyone for their help. The seat switch was the problem all along with a little help from a gremlin named Billy Goat. I checked the switch and it measured that it was ok, but neglected looking closer at the the other parts around the switch and wiring. Billy Goat had got ahold of the light wiring and chewed and pulled on it, so I fixed that, but at the same time In his search for something to scratch his gums he had pulled things connected to the switch off and apart in the hidden places that are hard to see and caused me to try and find the problem with my bad eyesight. It's fixed now. Thanks for all the help from everyone.

PS: I learned a valuable lesson on looking closer at wiring and things.. And perhaps the most valuable is don't park the tractor overnight in a place a goat can get to it, and look so innocent in the morning. If Emily our Longhorn was still around I would have blamed her, she would eat anything including paper feed sacks, cardboard, oakleaves, prickley pear cactus and pine needles.....and yes! we let her graze, but something's were gourmet to her. God bless!
