Interested in experience with front mount dethatchers...the most interesting I have found is from JRCo...they do make a mounting kit for the 2350.

Figure dethatch, mow, bag would be more efficient than tow behind

I use a rotary broom for dethatching and it works really well.

I'll bet that costs just a tad more than the dethatcher though....

If you can weld or have a friend who welds, you can make a 3 pt hitch one for about $100 (16 tine sets from agri fab and some steel) and a couple of hours time. There are several posts in the make it yourself forum. I made one and am very happy w/ it.

Yes, if you can weld you can make one for around $100 or so depending on how many tines you use. I have build a couple of 3pt hitch versions and offer detailed plans with cut list and instructions for free. Just PM me with your email address and I will send you a set.
