BX2360 won't shut off-not fuel stop selenoid

While mowing the unit acts like running out of fuel and shuts off. Re-start and is fine balance of the mow time. When go to shut off continues to run. After checking several things I have found it is blowing the 10amp fuse. Replaced fuse and done the same thing last night. This time several times it acts like running out of fuel but does not shut off and keeps running. This spring I did have to take fenders off and fuel tank lose to replace the 1/4" Rubber hose from Hydro Pump to PTO that a mouse chewed open. Thoughts????

I have the same issue with my BX2200. I checked all the fuses and they were fine. Next I replaced the stop solenoid and that didn't work either. Last thing I have done was to replace the ignition switch and that still did't fix it. I added an extension lever to the fuel cut off to get by for now, lol. I honestly don't use the BX a ton anymore but it would be nice to figure it out and resolve it but I just haven't committed the time to doing so yet.

This vintage of tractor should need power maintained to keep fuel on so I suspect your fuel stop solenoid is faulty. I don't have time now to check the circuit, but a full service manual with diagrams is available here. Don't forget to check wiring for mice damage.

The D902 is a keystop solenoid engine only, no run solenoid.

Good job, it amazes me that Kubota would run "non-failsafe" shutdown on such a late model tractor.

My CUT also uses a 'key stop' but also had a lever that was safety wired open.
I cut the wire and actuated the lever and discovered that it was actually a manual shut off.
I then ran some piano wire via a plastic tube to the cab and added a knob so I now have 2 shut off methods.

Possibly you also have that lever? I always figured that the key shut off was an upgrade add on for marketing reasons. (sorry, don't know what brand injector pump I have)
