BX2380 vs BX23S ROPS folded height

BX23S looks like it would fold significantly shorter than the BX2380.
Why would Kubota go through the trouble to design such a piece differently?
Is it possible to put a BX23S ROPS onto a BX2380?
Ever heard of someone requesting that?
Or a dealer given the permission and willing to do it?

The BX23s has a wider ROPS, because the seat rotates to run the backhoe. As to why it folds in a different place.....no idea.
