BX24 Brush Forks

I mounted the Brush forks today and put them to work. Worked great and saved alot of wheel barrow trips. Turned a 20ft hazlenut bush into three trips to the fire pit. Tomorrow dig it out. Should have bought a Kubota years ago.

Very nice. If the FEL could just lift the brush over and behind the operator and into the hopper of a chipper/shredder, we could have a really mean little machine!!


BTW, did you buy those forks or form them up yourself? (Never mind-just saw your other thread where you said you made them-nice job.)

Oh yeah, in that third photo, looks like you've got the DirecTV satelite dish mounted right on front edge of the FEL. Shades of Tim the Tool Man Taylor!!!!!

Tom, The brush forks saved me so much work I am just happy as can be. Just after that pile of brush was removed, I dug out a root some 6-8ft in dia of root that had spread for 20 yrs. Main root was about 2 ft down. Took my time and got it out, scooped up the spoils and took them to my trailer in yard. All I could have used was a Thumb to make it totally great. Enjoyed every minute because last year this was a two day process if lucky. I have two more of them to take out.

It is nice to widdle down your project list and thnk up more. Later in summer I will put in 200 ft. french drain and pit, and remove part of a drive to replant lawn for fall.
