If I'm interfacing a "foreign" piece of equipment to the loader control valve, How do I determine which connection does what?
I'm connecting my BX2764A plow to my BX24's control valve. The tractor has RED/BLU/WHT/BLK hoses. The plow has RED/BLU/GRN/YEL or WHT (not sure which as it's pretty faded or yellowed. Basically, it's not doing what I want it to do.
I think I'm looking for what connection on the valve does what.
I've traced the plow out as follows:
RED - Up
BLU - Down
GRN - Left
YEL - Right
How would these interface with the control valve on the tractor?
Right now if I connect all of the like colors together, the plow lifts the front wheels of the tractor off the ground but won't go the other direction. It will also angle left, but not to the right. Hydraulics are a new thing for me, and I'm mystified. I'd appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks!
