BX 24
I have a bx 24 and have a question; sitting on the tractor on the left is the controls for mid, rear pto's.However the lever to engage the pto touch eachother, therefore you can't pass the levers past eachother.I don't have a mid mounted mower ,it's a TLB set up.

Are you saying that the pto engage lever and the pto selection lever are touching each other?

If so something is bent in the levers. As I do not have that problem with my BX. It could have been bent by someone trying to force the pto selection lever into a spot ( I have noticed that the lever doesnt always move with the engine off... )

Matt, thanks for the reply, found that the lever was bent outward, wasn't sure if came that way, pushed it back into place and prob solved, think it was like that when I bought it.When you operate yours what position do you leave your pto lever?Mine has always been in the rear pto position.

Depends on what I am doing with the tractor, if the last thing I did was mow using my Mid Mount Mower (MMM) its left in that position if I was using my chipper its in the rear position...... it is not engaged until the other lever is locked into position so it really makes no difference
