Kubota BX24, Case 580 Super L
Hi group. I've read many owner reviews of the BX24, and a common complaint is that the plastic operator platform floor cracks on the left side rather easily. Supposedly, Kubota is supposed to come up with some sort of add-on support bracket to address this issue and supply it (and install it?) free of charge. Can anyone verify that this is a true intention of Kubota? If so, has this fix been released yet? Or is everyone still driving around with cracked platforms or some sort of home-made fix?

Thank you

The plastic fender has been redesigned with a little more support, and then there is a metal bracket kit that also exists that apparently makes it pretty foolproof. I broke mine and replaced the fender myself in an afternoon. I don't have a trailer or a truck and the warranty specifically states that you have to get it to the dealer for warranty work. I need to get the metal bracket kit, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

I had the dealer replace my broken fender before the support kit came out. I asked about the support kit, they looked it up and sent me one in the mail. Took about 30 min. to install, taking my time. This kit makes the deck super sturdy and should stop any fender breakage.

Ray,
My new one came with the reinforcements already on..So far no problems in any way.

I recieved my deck support as part of the warranty kit for the guage cluster replacement, and new, better fitting rubber handles for the levers.

Hi Mopauly,

What was your issue with the gauge cluster?

Thanks.

It was one of the questions I asked before I started purchase of a new BX2350. I assured me that all new models are coming from the factory already done and the ones that aren't, are replaced by the the guy who assembles them at the dealership.
You should be good to go but it doesn't hurt to ask before you buy.

I actually really didn't notice much, other then the clear plastic bezel covering the gauges would lift a little when it got wet. I think there may have been an issue with the hour meter reading properly as well. My tractor sits inside when it's not in use so I don't notice weather related issues as others might.

The whole thing came as a kit from the dealer that addressed a bunch of issues in one package. I had initially called to find out about the fender support. Can't wait till July to get my new seat :D

Mine finally cracked after 18 years. I should probably reread this thread.
