BX24 Dash Panel Swap

Hi group. My BX24 I got last week has a defective tach/hour meter. I've contacted the service department at my dealer a couple of times, and haven't gotten any calls back. So, I'm thinking of just asking them to get me the part, ship it, and I'll install it myself. Is there any reason not to do this, such as it's overly complex for some reason or moreso, because it would void my warranty? At this point, it's more important for me to get this replaced as soon as possible so my hours are someone accurate, and I'll worry about playing games with the dealer at another time.

I'm surprised that your tractor wasn't fixed before it was shipped. This is not exactly a new problem anymore. Unless Kubota won't send parts until the tractor is sold, it doesn't make any sense.

Anyhow, it's about a 10 minute fix to do. You unplug the old, remove it, and put in the new. 15 minutes to do max.

Make sure you get the handgrip kit and step stay kit as well if they weren't done.

I'm not certain that it's the same problem or not. When I first got it, the numbers were just barely readable, now it just always displays all the lcd's on, so it's essentially 888888, in both hour and tach mode. Thanks MOPAULY. I'll ask them to ship it.

What's the handgrip kit?

It replaces the soft grips on all of your levers. They have a tendancy to come off in your hand. The glue holding the emblem in the throttle lever also appeared to be defective, and would let the rabbit/turtle emblem fall off.

I found it to be a night and day differance when I replaced mine, for the better.
