As you may have seen from past posts, I had added a lever to operate the HST in the unused slot next to the 3ph lever. I have added an overide switch in parallel with the under seat switch to the lever in order to to allow the tractor to be moved forward or back while the seat is reversed in the backhoe position. Also allows the tractor to be moved while you are standing next to it. If you hold the button down, the motor doesn't die as you operate the HST lever despite no load on the seat, or it's position front or back.

thats a sweet idea, i find it a real pia if i'm trying to pick up a pallet with my forks and i cant see anything. the thing dies every time i stand up to look. i always forget and its irritating. now on another subject....where did you get that killer hood ornament?

And to think I am missing out on this as my tractor didn't come from the factory with a seat switch. Dern! ;)

That is a nice way of going about it, by the way.

Missed this thread first time around. Surprised it didn't get more play as your mod is a neat trick. If I follow what you did correctly, you basically jumpered the seat switch circuit with the cut off button such that the operator present switch is "on" when yeou'r either operating normally (seat in drive position) or when you hold the button down with the seat in BH position (or really anytime you hold the button down).

If you're still out there Achinbac, where did you get the yellow handled lever and what did you afix it to? Gonna give adding something similar to my BX25 some thought.

mjncad, thanks for the additional ideas. Quite the factory-like job you did with the PTO override switch, SCVs, labels and all. Not sure I'm up to such a OEM-like set up, but I might be able to run a jumper wire with a momentary type override switch. LOL.
