BX24 Manuals

My BX24 is coming in a few days, and while I imagine it comes with a standard owner's manual, am I correct in assuming it won't come with a service manual? If not, I'll have to order one. Is there any other literature I should get to accompany my BX to make sure I have all the information I need to properly maintain it?

You will not get a service manual. Free parts manuals are available. The service information is located in the back of the operators manual.

The BX24 Operator's Manual is pretty well made, and does cover all regular maintenace for the tractor, FEL and BH (from pages 63 to 90) and a bit of troubleshooting advice (Page 100).

If you wish to have a complete service/repair manual, then you will need to order a the WSM (WorkShop Manual - BX24) which is what Kubota mechanics use.

The BX24 WSM is over an inch thick and covers tractor, loader, backhoe, and belly mower(s). If you're used to automotive shop manuals, it's what you're looking for.

What I was inferring but not clear on was that it's not included with the purchase of the tractor, but sold seperately.

My used tractor did not come with one.

Any Kubota dealer has or can order the WSMs. That is the only way they distribute them. Parts manuals are not free from the dealer. Any thing on the web is violating Kubota's copyright. The WSM is around $80 and the Parts around $25. I have both for my BX25. They have saved me more than the cost. A must if you do your own service and repairs like I do.

Are you sure your tractor didnt come with one? did you look on top of the fuel tank under the seat in the black vinyl bag? its kinda slipped under the metal support bars on tank.

Had no idea to look there! Did do so ... unfortunately is not one here. Thank you for guiding me to that place though. Good to know for the future.

Found one and have ordered it!
