3-Point Hitch BX24 needs more lift on 3 point hitch

I can't remember exact cost, made up a 2 spool rear remote, the top link itself was just a cylinder from surplus center that has the swivel eyes on it. It's been a few years and I can't remeber the cylinder size off the top of my head, it's on bx1500 though so it might be relevant to yours anyways.

Since the lift links are only loaded in tension and never compression, you could rather easily replace both of them with pieces of chain. Whatever length you want or need.
Certainly the hydraulic top link is the best for use with a box blade. Without it there is so much getting on and off to adjust the thing it makes the whole implement a PITA and not worth fooling with. If you have a remote already (I have no idea if BX24's have a remote) the top link is easy and not terribly expensive. If you have to add a remote AND the hyd top link you are into large $ and might just have the wrong tractor.

Look at the King Kutter XB box blade 48inches wide and sized for the BX limited lift height.
