BX24 ROPS

just this afternoon, i was removing the backhoe and lited the tractor a bit to remove the pins. had the rops folded down to fit under the back deck. well i'm not sure exactly what happened but the tractor slipped offf the bh mount and the folded rops knocked me in the head. what a bump i got...... guess i'll review that procedure again

FSE, not a problem, I just don't think the tradeoff for banging the noggin is worth the headache for a folding one. Just out of curiousity, what is the hieght of your ROPS on your tractor that doesnt fold? I am curious what the dimension from floor to ROP and fender to ROPS ?

Its 37 1/2 inches from the fender to the top and 67 1/2 inches from the floor to the top of the ROPS.

That would explain why I didn't find out about the FEL float until 4 years after I bought mine...
