Well.....I only have about 17 hours on the machine but I have been working its tail off.
The pictures you see here is a rather large 4 stump root ball. It was made up of (2) Cherry and (2) Tree of Heaven trees. I dug all around the stumps first, then cut the Cherry trees off leaving about 6+ feet of log sticking up to winch to. The small BX did the job, but it couldn't have done it completely without the aid of a come-a-long thats for sure. Once I got it dug so far I attached the tugger to the base of another tree and just pulled the whole darn mess over on its side, then the work began cleaning the dirt from the roots!
Anyways, I got them all cleaned and seperated, and finally pushed around to their final resting place. Needless to say the BX24 can't lift the stump and root balls, they are much to heavy, but I can sure push them around where I need them. They will sooner or later end up in the fire ring.
