BX24 stump killer!

Pulled this stump out back in November. This machine never ceases to amaze me, and this stump really proved it. The stump is so large and so heavy I had to tip it on it's side and roll it out of the hole, as the BX just did not have the pulling power to drag it out. Once it was on the grass I was able to push it to the asphalt and then all the way down to the end of the driveway. I have one more just like it to dig out in the spring, and now I know this little tractor is up to the task.

I've pulled about 25-30 stumps with my BX. I had an excavator pull some big (30") pines that the BX couldn't budge. So far, I'm very happy with what I've been able to do with it. I have mine a little over a year and just spoke to a buddy of mine who bought one with me. He has 12 hours on his, I'm at 125 hours. Imagine what I'd have if I didn't have to go to work 5 days a week.

Just out of curiosity, what happened to it after you reached the end of the driveway?

Good question. Around here, the way some of these plow guys fly down the road, I'm sure if I put a stump at the end of the driveway and covered it with snow, it would end up a mile down the road. Hee, hee, hee.

These Tractor's are a lot of fun. Here is one of my stumps, I had a **** of a time loading it on my trailer. had to use two pressure treated 4x4's and slide it up those and on to the trailer.

Yep! They may look like riding mowers (especially w/FEL and BH off), but...

I have a BX24 and it is okay with stumps; not great though...Small sumps at the best.
