Which ones should I consider?

I will probably not cut any grass with this but I will use it on my grass for many other things. I have many small stumps to dig up and alot of fallen trees to move around (after they are cut into 5' peices). Is there anything else in the same price range? Ease of removing BH and FEL about the same for all of these models? Availability of rental attachments? As far as JD I was not really impressed with the 2305 and the next model up was more money. What other brands should I consider?

Thanks for the help!

Any other small or medium TLBs out there? I did some research on the MF but I think it is being replaced and I am a little worried about resale in case I decide I must have a bigger tractor in a year :)

Take a look at the Mahinda 15-series which range from 18 to 32 hp. They are quite a bit heavier than the BX series of similar horse power. Most models in this series have been built by Mitsubishi for quite a few years. They are very well supported, and they are extremely rugged. The loaders and backhoes are built by Kansas Machine Works, here in the U.S., and are also very high quality. Most of us who have them have never needed our warranty support.

Be aware a 5' log will not fit into a BX24 FEL. Need to be around 4' or slightly less.
But I am absolutely thrilled with my BX24.:D

My three cents' worth-- Recently went through the same comparisons, mainly between Massey's GC2310 and the Bota BX24-- Both very similar, but the Massey's engine is slightly larger (1123cc vs 980 or so), develops a bit more raw HP, but has significantly more HP available to the PTO shafts, and does this at a lower rpm. My main intended use was as a heavy-duty snowblower, mounted on the front, so that eliminated several of the scuts. True, the Massey blower was pricey, and the basic TLB + chains for the rear + the blower came out to $2000 more than the BX 24 with the same equipment (surprised me).... decisions, decisions-- but the 0% for 5 yrs swung the deal, actually making the GC2310 less expensive overall. I might also add that I've been told that the BX24 has a more involved process in removing the backhoe and installing 3-point implements, compared to the GC2310-- don't know, haven't tried that yet. Blower works VERY well, so with 22 hrs on it so far, I'm a very happy camper. Just wish I'd purchased it earlier in the season! :D

I'm pretty sure that the Massey, and Kubota use the same front mounted blower, made by a company in Canada. The backhoe mounts for both are very similar, the difference is that the Massey three point hitch can stay on the tractor with the backhoe mounted.

Try Kioti CK20 and TYM T233 or T273. All are a little bigger than the BXs and 23xx. I like these better than any subCUT. There are some really good deals right now on the TYMs too. Don't buy too small and be sorry later on.

It is hard to beat a well recognized brand like Kubota with good national dealer support. I do recommend that you do have a good dealer. I find they stay out of the shop more then any of the numerous brands we sell or have sold but the largest problem we often find is lack of initial knowledge of proper use and maintance. That is where the dealer comes in!

Yes, I believe the Kioti and TYM's are better spec'd and better priced.
