BX24 Warranty:)

Last week I was doin' some work for a neighbor and after I got home and parked the 'bota for the night, as I was stepping off 'CRACK' rang in my ears like cannon fire. Why so loud you ask. 'Cause I read hear on TBN about the fender cracking problem on BX24s and I knew in my sad heart what had happened before I even looked. Being 7 months out of warranty I was curious as to what this fender was gonna cost. After stopping by Byrd Tractor in Manassas Va, I was told "Drop it off and we'll take care of it". I didn't want to. My lil' 'bota is my baby. I don't trust anyone to work on my stuff but me. But they said if I wanted Kubota to take care of it the dealer had to replace the fender. So I caved in, and they did an awesome job. Not only was the fender reinforced, but very strong brackets were installed to strengthen it even more. After looking under the tractor I am confident that this problem is solved forever. Not only that, but they didn't charge me one cent. I know stuff like this has been posted before, but I just wanted to let everyone know why I'm glad I bought a Kubota. Even being out of warranty for 7 months they still take care of stuff.

Funny thing is I never even expected the dealer to take care of it like that.

Matt were did it crack at... I heard that same crack noise to but could not find anything...

It cracks down where the steel floor comes to the rear fender. The part that cracks is the plastic part directly where the straight part of the fender goes from floor to wheelwell. Do a search on BX24 Fender and you'll find lots of posts and pictures of others that had the same problem.

Matt, just about 1 yr. also I did find a crack today were there the fuel cap is. The crack is from the fuel cap to the black handle could not find any other yet...

Mine had a crack at the handle near the fuelcap too but I just ignored that one. When the crack on the floor/rear fender happened I couldn't take it. Darn plastic.
