I have had my BX25 since September and I am very happy with it. I have a question about the stabilizer legs on the backhoe. Is it normal for them to drop down from the parked position (that is fully stored) when the machine has not been used for a day or so? One of the legs (the right side sitting in the drivers seat) drops down over night. I am due for the 50 hour service and I would like to hear if this is normal or not. I would hate to have a leaking seal problem in the future that could have been repaired under warranty.

Aside from that I am very happy with the little tractor. It starts up even on the coldest days we have here in Ontario Canada.

How far does it drop? All the way to the ground and the other stays put?

The right side will drop down to a 90 degree angle by the next day and the other side will take about 3 or 4 days to get to the same position.

Completely normal. It is recommended to bungee or strap them to each other so they don't drop. That's what I do.

That sounds a bit excessive. Have you tried to disconnect the hoses from the tractor and see if it changes? Mine drop about 3-4 inches in about 5 days. Have you noticed if any fluid around the connectors. I have noticed, while running, with a full FEL that it will drift down while moving around, but not much. Maybe the valve is leaking where the lever is for that leg?

I have a l3400 w/bh75 2008 have the same problem but it is intermitant
Kabota has advised inner seal change/valve control problem/ control lever in true neutal
in other words they have no idea. But love my machine no matter what

Sounds to me like something's leaking in that cylinder or in a hose or connector on that side. Like Wacky said, my BX25 stabilizers will drop a few inches from weekend to weekend if I'm not using the machine during the week, but that's it. Having one of them drop 90 degrees overnight doesn't sound normal.
