Using my BX25 yesterday and noticed liquid running out of my front bucket. After inspection discovered the liquid was Hyd fluid coming out of the hose that supplies the hyd fluid for the bucket tilt. There was a section wore out on the hose.
I noticed the hose has a tight bend making a full 180 degree turn in a very short distance and the hose moves every time the bucket is tilted. The area where the hose has to fit is very restricted and seems to have to work the way it is. I remembered later that I had another tractor FEL hose in this same location that was wearing a spot on this same hose. Going to make some type of sleeve or cover for this hose to prevent this from happing again.
Glad I have a local Industrial Supply that made me a new hose with no hole
for it in about 10 minutes. $15.00.
Free Tip to you other owners. Check this hose and see if there is a wear spot on yours. Raise your bucket and move your tilt lever while watching what movements your hose makes. Decide if you maybe need to make some type sleeve or at least wrap it with black tape or some type of tape where it touches any metal, if yours does.
