Yea. When we got the M5700 for the farm, the bolts fixing the step to the frame weren't torqued properly. After about 20 hours, I started to get off it, stood on the step and the darned thing fell off with me on it. Nigh on killed myself. I think it's probably a good idea to check every bolt you can get to when you take delivery of a new tractor.

I think I'll check the bolts, good idea.

When they ship me the missing bolt, they are also sending me the missing 12V plug. The wiring harness is hanging loose under the seat, and somehow no one noticed the missing receptacle.

Yep, every machine I ever purchased had very poor prep. I always at least remove every dealer installed bolt and apply never sieze and retorque.
