I don't think there are any more pics. The only thing left to do is swap out the deck of the 3030 because of a sizeable enough ding/dent that caused the finish coat to flake leaving an area of rust. The tractor came that way from Kubota...at no extra charge... ;) I'll touch up the other areas, but this one needs replacing in my opinion. Maybe if it were going to be used in the construction field where 5 different people would be using it daily, adding more "aging marks" it wouldn't matter as much....but if I had to sell it next week for some reason, someone would surely point it out to me and make an excuse...so I'll just let it be remedied up front.

Other than that, all looks good for delivery this week! So maybe a few pics of the arrival will come sortly.

Here's a pic of the edge of the platform. I guess you have to decide what to let pass, and what needs replacing...and I feel that it should be replaced. Everyone is different as the old saying goes. So, I'll wait for a replacement to come in. I'm told most all tractors come with some sort of damage...but I guess I'm just not used to such. Maybe it's because the 3030's are shipped from Japan :(

Guess we'll postpone the delivery til next week sometime.

I'm pretty sure I would have let that slide, maybe just have them sand it down a little and touch it up, but hey, its a new tractor and its your call.

I just know how hard it is to touch up from a spray can and it match, but I'm glad we swapped it. The part arrived to Barlows today, they swapped it and I will have the tractors here by lunch tomorrow....so it was a quick fix. I'll post pics once they arrive.

Well Marvin was here on time today. He left Somerset at 5am, and made it here around 11:20.....good time with such a load!

Here are a few pics. I have so much work to do, and I'm ready to put them to use "helping me" so I won't wear my back out.

Nothing else would have fit on this rollback...period. This is a load.

My pics aren't uploading...Flickr may be having issues...I'll try tomorrow.

For that little ding, I would have just touched it up with a little Kubota touch-up paint. IMO, seems a bit silly to knit-pick over something that small. There have been plenty of 'issues' with new tractor deliveries in the past...... like the loader with bird poop welds. I would have been upset with that one too, but your spot would have easily passed my QC with a dab of paint.

As I said earlier....we're all different. And if you've ever tried to hide rust with paint, you know where that leads usually. But it's no matter really, because we all have different opinions of what is important. To me, it was important to have it replaced, and Kubota and Barlows did so without question...it was left up to me.

I expect nothing less than perfection in a new machine, but boy I don't know if I could stand to be without one long enough to get it fixed.

I know you really are going to enjoy your new machines.
