BX2660 Removing FEL

I will try again tonight after watching you video and reading you post. Good stuff. I did read somewhere to have the throttle about 1/4. Is this what you would recommend?

That's fine. Maybe a little less even. Go slowly... You can see what's going on and you're less likely to hurt yourself or damage something. It's easy after a couple of times.

No need to be gentle. My BX2660 was new in September and it took a few times to get used to removing and attaching the FEL. It has gotten a lot easier. I still can't match the 55 second video!
Reattaching the hoses has been easy, except when it was outside in the sun. I think the sun created pressure in the hoses and it took an hour to get them attached. I now always remove it in the shady garage.

I tried again as soon as I got home from work. I got it off. The left side was stuck by the paint. The right side lifted but the left side did not, so I stepped on the front of the bucket. You can see where the paint has been bubbled/pushed almost like the bucket was put on while wet. Anyway, pretty easy process. Thanks for the tips. I did take the bucket off in the garage in the shade.

Yea, that is the video that someday I'll match. Right now I'm probably under 5 minutes, which is MUCH better than the first few times.

Man, who is that good lookin fellow?

That was actually my first take... I'll bet I can shave a few seconds off that yet.

What's the procedure to reattching? Sometimes I get lucky and it takes 30 seconds other times I'm not so lucky.

What kind of a trouble you are having when reattaching ?
Usually the only trouble I have now is if i took it off a uneven surface.

I used to have an issue with the pins till i greased them up and took it on/off often one summer and then it got easier since the paint was a bit thick in the hole. When I first got the BX, I used to have a issue with the reaatchment of the hydralic lines since I didn't releive the pressure enough. Now its a habit just before I jump off the BX, I run the joy stick (with engine off of course) in BIG circles several times and it always releived the pressure no matter how slight.

The tractor will continue to run as long as your hydro pedal is in the neutral position. Same goes for your PTO control lever, must be in the neutral position unless you take the necessary steps to operate the PTO while out of the seat.
