Kubota BX 2660 and B3200
Hello everyone. I am a new member and have viewed this site alot before making my purchase of a BX 2660. I love the tractor.
Today, I was pulling my box blade and the tractor RPMs dropped to 780. I stopped my forward movement and the rpms stuttered and the tractor stalled. Now I cant restart it. Any help?
Thanks Jeff

Hmm, Are you sure you have diesel in the tank ? Can you get it running again ? check the fuses ? whe you turn key on, can you hear the pump running before starting ?

I know there is fuel in the tractor. The air cleaner looks clean as new. The oil is full. The engine turns over but doesn't fire which leads me to believe it is a fuel problem. Would the fuel filter be plugged. The tractor only has 24 hrs on it.

check to see if the safety swtiches are ok. there are 2 under the seat on right side. Also check the soleniod shutoff and make sure the plunger is not stuck in shuffoff position. the plunger should be sticking out, not in. You can tell by the rubber boot that is on it.

I did check the safety switches- all are OK. I will be going back out now to work on it. Of course this had to happen back in the woods. Are there any restrictions on towing a hydro tranny? It would be nice to work on this in my shop.

Clean fuel filter; bleed system after making sure you have fuel flow

Thanks for all your help. After turning the key on and not hearing the fuel pump, I started looking at that. The fuel pump power was unplugged. I am guessing a stick must have caught it.
Thanks again.
