BX2750 Snowblower Engine Soot

You're right on the BX23, but on the BX2200, the exhaust points out and to the front, putting soot on the loader arm. I ordered the small clamped on sheet metal piece that is on the BX23 exhaust, when I went to pick it up at the dealer, the price was $48 if I remember correctly, I told them to send it back. I bought the BX grill guard from another dealer and he threw in one of the exhaust extensions. Attached is pic of the part that is on the BX23,and now on my BX2200

Is the part Number for the pipe K2591-83120 & clamp 67980-58640?

If so the pipe just lists for $10.85 at Tractorsmart

The clamp is like $1.15

I don't know if that's the part # but that is a more reasonable price than what I was quoted. Several have made their own out of copper fittings that do the job, I made one and pop riveted it in, but the vibration loosende the rivets and it would rattle when I started it.

Ok I will. I could have gone with the copper fitting as some folks have done, but I did not want Kubota to tell me the engine failed because of the fitting, back pressure or what ever. Most likely would not happen, but with my luck.... $15 is cheap insurance as I see it.
