Backhoe Bxpanded backhoe dolly

Hi all,

I am new to this forum having just (last September) purchased a BX 25 plus a mowing deck and 60" plow. Hope to get more attachments as time and $ allow. What a great tractor! I am now becoming proficient at removing and installing the backhoe but saw the video of the Bxpanded backhoe dolly which made removal and installation look even easier plus, the added advantage of moving and easier storing. Since I have blown the budget on purchasing the tractor and having the tools to fabricate a dolly, I thought I would make that my winter project. I can work out the dimensions but would appreciate someone letting me know the height and the size of the castors. I am sure I am not the only one to try this and I would rather get it right the first time. Thanks in advance for any information.

Something like this might be quicker / cheaper and do the job. TSC also has this type of thing.

Welcome to TBN. The dolly issue has been around sine 2002..Look around and use the search...You can buy (2) dollies from China frieght for $18 and be 100% happy.

I saw another thread from someone else who used three pre-built furniture moving type dollies and tied them together, but I can't find that thread.

bought one of the BX expanded dolly's for my BX 25 back hoe and I'm very happy with it. It is well made, allows me to easily remove the back hoe and once quickly on the dolly I can move it around the shop.

Looks very familiar....
I did buy NICE phenolic casters. I think 800 lb since you put a lot of weight on the small end when removing.

Deano, Nice work, I hope I can do the same. Can you tell me the height of the dolly? My backhoe is off the tractor and stored for the winter otherwise I would instal and measure height. Thanks,

Oh my, that does look familiar, almost the same as the grey one I have.

It reminds me - to the original poster - you probably want to make the one end solid casters and the other end swiveling... prevents it from rolling off if not on a perfectly level surface.
