I should have mentioned, I have a Land Pride AFM4211 and Woods RD8400. The woods clumps grass like a brush hog. Cuts fine but does poor at distributing the cut grass. Land Pride works fine as long as the grass is not too long. We have had a ton of rain the last few years and pulling it up a gentle slope often leaves ruts that need filled when it dries. I had a Kubota L3710HSTC a few years ago with a mid mower. All things considered, it was a decent mower. I use a 72" Zero Turn Cheetah that works best, but as I mention, allergies are the big issue. There are plenty of trees and obstacles to mow around. Its not bad mowing with the Land Pride as I can cut pretty close with it. Biggest problem, I have to spend 30 min greasing it and hooking it up each time. Gotta do it out in the elements so alergie issue again, coupled with the wet ground its just not working. When we were in a drought, it was great, ground was always solid and allergies were less.
I have a mile of trails that can only be mowed with the ZT or dragging the woods with the loader removed. With a mid mower, I can fit with the loader still on if needed.
