One consideration - and this is totally off the top of my head and could be wrong - I *think* that you can still get the big initial tax deduction (it's like 100% in year 1 or something) for buying this type of truck, which is no longer available for most pickups and SUVs - it used to be called the Hummer tax deduction because that's what most people were using it for.

What I was remembering about cab-forward city trucks being in the exempt class either was never enacted or was repealed. It looks like delivery vans with no passenger seat other than a jumpseat are exempt, but I don't know if that's useful. Otherwise it is trucks with a GVWR of 14k and up. So I guess all the general contractors and insurance agency owners will start driving around in F450's and International CXT's.
