Cab Heater (need help)

I have a Sims cab that I installed last winter and I would like to ad a heater (Stepvan heater pt.#55-322, $102.49) does any one know how to plumb the heater to the cooling system.
Do I ad a tee fitting at the bypass hose on the water pump for the inlet feed and ad a tee fitting to the bottum radator hose for the return line?

I have a Sims cab with a heater that is in the back of the cab behind the seat. The idea seems good but the application leaves something to be desired. Both the supply and the return lines have to be routed under the tractor. Seems OK until you blow hoses because the mower belt is rubbing against the hoses and causing leaks. You also have to avoid all of the levers and all the other stuff under the tractor.
As for your question, a tee is placed into the top radiator hose with the return going into a fitting that screws into the block. I think this is where a block heater would be added if you had one. This fitting has a shut off valve so you can turn off the flow of coolant during the summer.
I tried getting Sims to respond as to the proper routing of the hoses and could get no answer. For a while I tried using wire ties to keep the hoses in place. These ties eventually will wear into the hoses.
Bottom line, good idea but I have removed it and plugged the hole in the back of the cab with the slow moving triangle. I replaced the upper radiator hose and plugged the fitting that goes into the block.
Good luck with your application....hope things work out better for you. I really like the cab....good design for everything but the heater.

I just put on a Curtis cab and heater. I tapped the upper thermostat housing with a 1/4 NPT for the supply line, and installed a tee in the lower rad hose for the return.

It looks like you got your heater from Mill Supply. That's where I got mine for my BX2200 with a Curtis cab. I called Curtis and ordered 2 of the T fittings from them, one for the upper radiator hose and one for the lower radiator hose. I believe they were about $9.50 each and a shutoff valve for $13.50 plus shipping. About $40 total. I ran the lower hose under the tractor and the upper hose straight into the upper hose and put the shutoff right under the heater. If you do a search, I also posted a question on this recently. One of the replys I got posted the pictures of his set up on his BX2200.
