On my Massey units (1648 & 1652, both cabbed) I have found the same as reported by others: cab gets hot enough, easily, to roast you out. I think I have only turned the blower up above "1" a couple times, and that was mainly to get more air movement. The directional vents allow you to point the air where you need it, and I point them all at the Windows.
Like Ken mentioned, turning it on "AC" mode actually helps to remove moisture from the cab, which helps with fogged windows.
The biggest problem I experience, when it's really cold, is that the cab glass is warm enough to melt the snow and ice, but the wiper blades can freeze with ice build up. Like a car, you just beat them. Wish there was a way to heat the wipers...
