Cab roof color preservation

Not wanting to start a debate between those who wax their tractors and those who don't, but wondered if anyone had found anything to protect the plastic/fiberglass roof from sun fading/discoloration?

Seems like there is an endless supply of automotive products to preserve and "rejuvenate" automotive plastics, both inside and out. Anyone found something that works for a tractor cab roof?

Good point. I think I'll go take a look at my cab roof. Thinking that any good auto polish would be ok. Might try a boat wax

i haven't used to for your application - but have generally had good experience with this stuff for protecting surfaces from UV damage:

303 Products 16Oz Aerospace Protectant (30308) - Protectants - Ace Hardware

Yes 303 is a good product to protect but it won't bring back the color if already faded.I use on my cab roof and canoes/kayaks.

On my heavy faded chalky factory fiberglass sunshade, I used Meguiar's #83 Dual Action Cleaner Polish with the appropriate stiffer pad and a DA polisher. This was followed by a coat of wax. The before and after results were amazing.
