KIOTI NX5510 Cab HST with Backhoe
Was moving tons of trees and branches with the grapple and had a big piece break off while I was lifting it pretty high large branch snapped and hit the roof and light fixture and my windshield windshield survived, the light survived but the plastic housing around the light was broken and I have two cracks in the plastic roof on my kioti NX . Any recommendations on something that will seal the cracks from water? Don't really care about color matching the orange /black plastic just looking to keep out water The cracks are right behind the front lights close to the front of the cab
Thanks

Was looking at a product called E6000

I'm not sure it could be very thin fiberglass, I know the housing around the front lights is plastic maybe the roof is a fiberglass material the cracks aren't huge but they are big enough to let rain in
Sorry I could not be more specific

I would choose to go the way 3R had it done. Be certain you pick the correct adhesive. There are types for ABS, high density polyethylene, fiberglass and then there are some fairly universal types. Follow the application instructions carefully and you will end up with a permanent repair.

Maybe more than what you want to spend, but a good body shop should be able to weld it back solid for a relatively low cost.

Seen a few around here thru the years that just was grey duct taped. Not fancy, but good enough until crack it again some other time... :)

We've still not heard what the material this is..... If its fiber glass, then it very repairable with epoxy or a fiberglass repair kit. Not all that hard to do. ABS also takes glue well and is very good for repairing a crack. But if its one of the poly varieties like HDPE, then the weld kits come into play since this material doesn't like glue. Yes, manufactures claim they have a magical glue, but I remain skeptical of them. I've not used those weld kits so I can't comment on them.
