Cabelas branded gun safes?

I am in need of a gun safe. Kids are old enough to shoot/hunt and I find myself buying more guns. Really I just need a place to store the guns but I figure if I am going to spend money I might as well get more than just a steel box and get an actual gun safe that has some features. I don't see the particular model listed on their site but it was one in the store that was more basic but still said 'Made in the USA', maybe part of their Woodsmen series? IIRC correctly it was around $900-950. I am not interesting is spending more $$ for a safe than I have in the guns themselves

It is also going on a joist type floor not concrete so I am not interested in a multi-ton monstrosity

Although I will be putting some bracing under floor no matter what.

I assume these safes are made for Cabelas by someone else. Are they comparable in their price range or is there another brand where you could get a few more features for the same money?

I currently plan on waiting for the holiday sale period to see what they put on sale and maybe it will go on sale or I can get the next size up for the same money. Just want to know if they are worth waiting for or not.

Is there a Tractor Supply Co. nearby? The local TSC store here has a number of gun safes from $300 up. I was looking at them last weekend and they seem pretty decent.

No TSC's here but we do have other farm related places as well as Dicks Sporting goods, Sportsmans Warehouse (might be a regional thing) as well as others.

I did read some of the older gun safe threads on here and the comments about the quality of various brands but I did not see any comments specific to the Cabelas branded safes.

If looking for a deal try Craigs list? I got a like 12 gun model from walmart. It was like $350. Its not the stell box its a heavy model not super heavy duty but still weight like 250-300lbs. I have at least 8 long guns i can thing of in it and maybe more? Ok just rembembered another so thats 9, im thinking there may be a few more. So i think its a 16 gun safe. You have to remember they are rated to hold like small .22 rifles that are unscoped. Start putting things like AR's and AK's in them with big scopped center fires and it reduces capacity by about a third. I have a few .22s in mine 2 deer center fires scoped, 2 long barreled shotguns, a muzzel loader and sever others as well and you see i only got somewhere around 10 in it. Pistols go on top shelf or laying on floor behind the but stocks.

Mine has 5 1" interlocking steel bars, electronic lock (replace AA batts once in 5 years) and is NOT fire rated.

I knew about the capacity issues. Right now I have 3 scoped rifles, 2 iron sight rifles, 2 shotguns and a pistol. I plan on picking up another shotgun or two and probably 2 or 3 .22's and another pistol. So I was thinking of getting a 24 gun safe to maybe have a little room for other unforeseen 'needs'

I've seen them at Costco. Worth checking if you are a member.
$570 for 24 guns. 30 min. fire protection. On sale next couple weeks.

I was at Costco yesterday and they had a 'Winchester' '24 gun' safe for $499. Rated at 30minutes/1400 degrees etc etc. All pretty much the same specs as the one I was looking at Cabela's. Biggest difference I noticed (other than half price) was this safe has bolts on the top and bottom of the door in addition to the bolts on the sides of the door, the Cabela's does not. I think I am going to pick up one of these
