Well any safe can be opened, it is more a matter of how long. I did see those pictures before which is why I like this safe with the bolts in the top of the door... takes a little longer to open. As per my original post my first concern is not security but just having a place to put my guns.

If the door and door frame are stiff enough, and the bolts are well supported, you don't need many bolts at all. A cast iron jewelers safe, for example, typically only has two or three moving bolts on the latch side of the door, and two or three static bolts on the hinge side of the door. That's it. The reason this works is because the door and door frame are un-bendable, for all intents and purposes.
In addition, fewer bolts mean fewer moving internal parts -- which increases the reliability of the locking mechanism.
For these reasons, you are better off getting a safe made of thicker material, and with a stronger door, than a safe with more bolts. As you can see from the link to the pictures I posted above, thin/weak doors -- even when equipped with many bolts -- are easily opened with prybars and hi-lift jacks. There is a Youtube video of two guys opening a popular RSC in about 90 seconds using a pair of prybars.
A stout door and doorframe, along with well supported bolts, will force a determined thief to do a cut-in on the side of the safe. More info on this approach here:

You get what you pay for in gun safes IMHO.I have 3 gun safes,check the fire rating(on the door)check for good heavy construction.A good heavy duty safe(36-40 gun) should be run $1200-1800 bucks.coobie
