This thread is really old, but anyone who reads this needs to know how these deals work. The cost of warranty is built into all warranted equipment.
When Cabelas made the deal with TYM, they kept that part of the cost of goods because they were doing the service. It works great until they sell and don't deal with the repercussions.
Ridiculous to blame TYM. They didn't get paid to warrant Cabelas tractors. They got paid to build them. The bright side is that they are the same as TYM models other than cosmetics. That means parts will still be available. Legal recourse against Cabelas or Bass Pro may have been possible. Their sale could have addressed this potential issue. They could have paid TYM to honor the Cabelas warranty.
