2D or 3D CAD with little learning curve and it's totally FREE.

FreeCAD: Your own 3D parametric modeler

Not only CAD, it offers way more, even 3D Printing !

Tractors from the 70's till now needing replacement dashs or a refresh to newer controls can be 3D printed in UV safe materials. One can also increase the material wall thickness or add ribbing for strength too.

Front plastic grills or headlamp assemblies made in 3D to allow newer LED lighting to all look OE.

i do like this thread for the quick attachment hardware too.

I thought I had some 2x4x.250 rectangle tube but alas it was 2.5x3.5x.25 so I have to wait until it comes in on Friday before I can put one together. The parts fit like a glove :)

OMG! At the risk of sounding like a 13 yo girl...LOl
I should have had the parts cut for the first two! Unbelievable how everything is going together.
I got one of them partially welded up, still need to weld the tabs and thumb parts.
I'm going to get a new welder on Monday (at least the salesman is calling me Monday)

Ah, those welds look GREAT. Why are you looking at a new welder then.

Welds are fine, it's an older Hobart 185 Handler that has seen a few spools of wire...lol
The problem is I'm running it wide open most of the time now and it just doesn't have the duty cycle I would like. I'm hoping to pick up a Miller 252 or the like.
