CAD software

LOL LOL I'm a woodworker and after two or three CAD programs I went back to just a scratch pad and pencil with a sturdy eraser. I get lots more built that way! Sometimes I think these dang puters slow ya down and waste tons of paper. I run a paperless office (veterinary hospital) and have to buy a case of paper about once a month. Hmmmmm Maybe a shredder fed to a blower that funnels into the furnace. Do we have an alternative enrgy source here?

Rowski,

Sorry I didn't respond for so long - lost track of the thread I guess. Anyway, AutoDesk (makers of AutoCAD) has produced a handy Glossary that you can use as a reference. AutoCAD is the dominant player in the market so this should explain most of the terms you'll need.

TurboCAD also has a FAQ page that has links to useful information.

Hope this helps,

Thanks for the link. I can understand lossing track of a thread. That glossary will help for sure. I've been to the TurboCAD site before. I got training module #1 with the program. Training module #2 you need to purchase. The also offer on-line training, private or group. I might try the on-line training later this fall when I am not so busy. Thanks again for the link.
