After replacing my Water Heater, I've decided to look closer at the rest of the water system and see what needs to be serviced before it dies unexpectedly.
We've got a Kinetico Calcite Water Conditioner that is supposed to help with acidic water (according to the web).
Does anyone know if these things need to be serviced, recharged, replaced after a certain amount of time? It doesn't appear to be serviceable but I suspect it will eventually need to be replaced.
It came with the house - that is why I don't know anything about it.
