Hi Guy!
My tires have a mixture of windshield washer and water. Some folks use beet juice (I believe this is traded under the name Rimguard).
Calcium Chloride is supposed to be heaviest however.

Attached is a picture of the alternative I used for my 4710. It is easy to remove & does not leak out if I have a flat tire.

Rim Guard seems to be making the rounds now - I see more dealers mentioning carrying it. Rim Guard is just about exactly as heavy (or even a tick heavier) than calcium - 10 lbs/gallon and change. Since it is supposed to be non-corrosive you'd have to check with the dealer but it may be possible to use less than the 75% fill needed with calcium if you don't want quite that much weight. Keep in mind liquid ballast can (for better AND worse) put a LOT more ballast in the tractor than typical wheel weights - and lower down. My 4710 has roughly 1,300 lbs of Rimguard in the 16.9x24 rears.
I would use WW fluid if I was doing it myself. You could also use antifreeze (either the RV kind of the other kind). Another option is having them filled with foam. Foam is very heavy and you can't get flats. I have antifreeze in mine.

U /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gifse washer fluid it is cheap and can be bought in 55 gallon drums mix it 50/50 with water and you have the perfect amount for the r-4 tires. Plus if some leaks out who cares it is a dollar a gallon and it doesn't hurt or kill any thing.

I had a 445 with the 26" Ag tires. I had a local tire shop install that industrial foam used in loaders and bobcats. Worked great, no leaks to worry about and I got 150 lbs per tire. Down side, it was ~$1.00 per pound and that was about 8 years ago.

Just had the front tires done on my gc2310 $ 1 .00 per pound also. No more flats on the front........
