all of the dealers i do business with i know the owners.an i just bypass the salesmen an talk to them from the git go.the salesmen that i talk know im going to squeeze them down to their bottom price,so after a few mins he just goes to his very bottom price an most times i say yes on the deal.over 20yrs ago i was dealing with an owner on a new stock trailer told him what id give cash an my trailer an he said no.so left an he followed me out telling my dad to tell me to write the check.well my dad told him it wasnt his deal an what i said goes an we left.it took me 5yrs before id agree to any of his deals.

Very good question. It is a mystery to me as well as to why some dealers seem to just not care. Perhaps they feel like callers are not serious but folks that actually come to the store are serious.
