Congratulations, you got a super deal on that tractor and equipment. I bought a B7400 HSD (the sucessor to yours) earlier this year and it is a great tractor that has done everything I've asked of it so far. I paid twice what you did for brand new with an FEL and a new Bush Hog - and was actually accused of being related to the dealer to get that deal!

Here is a quick picture. Not the best quality but it's all I've got for now. I'll post better pics next week.

Why are the ag treads reversed on the front end? Any particular reason?

The guy that had it used it to back drag a lot of dirt. He spread 85 loads of dirt with it. I would assume that is why. I am going to reverse them when I have a chance.

Yee haw! I have Saturday off! I have been looking through the service manual and looks like it's time for the 300hr service. I plan on getting to my dealer as soon as they open. I need to buy a few items. The only thing I have found that needs attention, (something the guy I got it from showed me) is that one of the headlight sockets has some plastic busted off of it and it needs to be replaced. I'm going to do the complete 300hr service. I have the parts manual so it makes it easy seeing what I need. I've got all the part numbers written down. Maybe the dealer has some touch up paint I can get as there are a few scratches that are bothering me! I going to service it, clean it up, get the front tires back turning in the right direction, and my brother in law (who has an awesome digital camera) is supposted to come over and check the tractor out and take some pics. Maybe I'll have some cleaned up pics of it to post this weekend.

I still can't wipe the smile off my face! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

All this talking and nobody every told me the bad part of tractor ownership. I've had the tractor for four days now and it seems like everyone is my best friend all the sudden! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif Ohh well, I've had a lot of people help me out over the years, so I guess what goes around comes around! I don't mind doing a few freebie jobs, but if it keeps up the way it is starting I'm gonna have to charge something!
