I have owned a business for 26 years now,the list of competitors that are left who have bad mouthed me, my products, and my service can be counted
on one hand.

Many who have bad mouthed my company now have lost their
clients to me without me ever muttering a word about them.

Well, the negative ads stopped and low and behold I was told by numerous folks that that dealer sold his business. The dealership is still there but the new owners have hired all new people as I am told and as far as I know the new ownership is just tending to their business.

Bring them a box of donuts, establish a bit of a business friendship with the owners. Nothing like a little respect between business owners, it keeps things civil. We should be able to compete with others and remain friends.

Hi Dave. I thought along the same lines. Not donuts but to go in and introduce myself and let them know that if I can be of assistance don't hesitate to give me a call.

If I did do donuts then they may only get 1/2 a box by the time I get there since they are my weakness
