Hi Eddie,I'm new to the forum. I live close to one of the pilgrim routes to Santiago de Compostela in Baiona. I also have a website all about Galicia including info about the Camino/Way of St. James see Galicia Travel Guide - My Destination Galicia I suggest as you only want to do part to begin with that you do the final 100 kilometres from Sarria to Santiago which is on the French Way. This means you can still obtain the compostela certificate for completing the Way. For a detailed look at the route check out this website which is one of the best to use see Camino Ways - Your Camino in Style - CaminoWays.com I can also advise you if you want to do another route like the Portuguese Way, one of the routes is near me. Hope this helps, happy walking!
