That gas station burned down a few years ago set by the owner, who is now in jail. What direction from Cov was she? This place is about 6 miles south.
NE from that 3 way intersection about a mile. That place must just barely be in the snow belt then huh?

ArlyA, hope you find what you want at a decent price. I really like my place in the middle of nowhere but if I was doing it again, I would buy vacant land and build what I want. If you just need a shelter for when you camp, fixing up an old cabin might make sense but in general it becomes wasted work/money.

I would put up a nice pole barn and finish part of it for living quarters.

Ya, we got so much to do before winter.... Barely know where to start. Still got my eye on this 2022 4066, but then we'd have to store it where for the winter??

When I had a larger tractor that we'd leave out on our property over the winter, I'd build a simple frame of 2x4's and put a tarp over it to rain, snow, and sunlight. Remove the battery, top off the fluids and that was that. In spring, I'd remove it all, clean the dead rabbit guts off the seat (something would drag rabbits into the cab and eat them on the seat), pop in the battery, check fluids and off I'd go.

You'd probably have to consider a stronger shelter due to snow loads.

PSF snow load code for in town is 140. And while out there, it would be needed to push snow around with.

This this applies.
----------------------------------

1. Clear the parking area.

2. Somewhat clear the mile in to the cabin. (its in terrible shape)

3. Clear back the cabin area.

4. Prep cabin from winter use.

5. Find someone local who could plow the parking area for us.
