LED lights even run off a 100aH LiFePO4 battery will last a LONG time. Bring it home every 3rd time you're there and charge it up, no need for solar (yet) if you just need lights I am partial to the warmer color LEDs (<4000) but that is a personal preference. LiFePO4 batteries are getting pretty cheap on AMZN lately.

Don't like these propane lights here. They Somke, and don't put out much light. We'll need to look at a larger solar panel instillation.

Can't write much with just one or two bars at camp. We'll investigate the propane light thing but the original owner did add a small solar panel after year of propane lights use. He talked about how well it worked. So far we'd agree.

Have you looked at solar shed lights with a battery? If there inexpensive enough maybe get them for temporary use til you get a decent solar array set up? Led lights definitely use a lot less battery juice and have come a long way since the older bright white light ones.

I was thinking battery powered led lights also like Hawkinshollow said. The batteries last for ever or rechargeable ones would be good too.

Problaby id make sure the charge controller if solar or battery charger is rated for lifepo batteries.
