Last time we bought a house I took pics everywhere - main floor, upstairs, basement, crawl space (part of the house was crawl space, part basement) , attic --
It turned out really useful not only during the decision process but later as well I could avoid another crawl or climb when pondering work that needed to be done

Wife just got an accepted offer on a 34 acre property, with 40x60 pole barn. Additional enclosed horse arena with stalls. 3500 square foot home, with a panic room... For $750k. Pretty good deal in these times. Place has two septics, two wells... Pretty fantastic for her buyers.

RE has gotten crazy expensive. Great if you have been a property owner and seen the value appreciation. Terrible if you haven't owned property and therefore didn't benefit from the run up.

One acre plots here are $30k... vacant. 6 years ago $6k was normal.

We found out from a well driller who works in that area this camp might be the in 500ft well formation.. Could be a deal breaker for us.

There used to be a bigger per acre discount on large properties. Now, it seems like around me, a 50 acre property is running at least $9k/acre; and a 10 acre property might be $12/acre. Seems like 15 years ago, the % spread was bigger?
