Camp property search

North Central and North East Florida has a ton of small and medium lakes, and multiple navigatable rivers. What we don't have a lot of, is public access. The vast majority of small lakes can only be accessed from private property.

Google Earth and take a look at Interlachen FL. It's a low income area, with hundreds and hundreds of small lakes. My understanding, in German, the name means "connected lakes"

I know I've followed on/off this thread, and the general search, but what I don't remember, are you kinda focusing in on a 25 mile radius, or just the general upper peninsula of Michigan? Obviously I'm not suggesting FLa for snow skiing trails; but how narrow geographically is your search? Does moving a county over significantly change the cost up there,

Was back to the camp with 40 acres that we've looked at much to see if trails could be readily built on it. This is where a garage would need to be built on.

Back side and heading into the woods. These are sandy ridges or dunes its built on. Mostly sand here.

Trying to see another property that came up FS near us AND meet with the owners daughter of the one we've looked at the most and seen just above. Here is another inside pic.

The cabin is quite small and it only has one small out building seen below so we planed to have a 4 car sized garage added. If you go back in these thread, many interior photos have been posted. I've already been looking at pricing for that garage. Below is the out building that looked reasonably good in construction other than it needs to be a bit higher off the ground and sonotubes added as support.
